Introduction

VAASRA ("we", "us", "our") is a property rental management platform operated by VAASRA Technologies, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal data when you use our Android application.

As a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we are responsible for ensuring your personal data is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently. By using VAASRA, you provide free, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent to the processing of your personal data as described in this policy.

Definitions

In this policy:

• "Platform" or "VAASRA" means the VAASRA mobile application and related services operated by VAASRA Technologies.
• "User" means any person who registers for or uses the Platform, whether as an Owner or a Tenant.
• "Owner" means a User who lists one or more properties on the Platform.
• "Tenant" means a User who searches for, accesses, or rents a property through the Platform.
• "Personal Data" means any data about an individual who is identifiable by or in relation to such data, as defined under the DPDP Act, 2023.
• "Government ID" means a government-issued identity document (such as Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, or Driving License) submitted for optional verification.
• "Account" means a User's registered profile on the Platform, tied to a verified mobile number.
